Winning the hearts and minds of investors to increase a share price

The brief: Design Group are the world’s biggest gifting and celebrations trading company.  Their goal was to increase the share price by winning investors hearts and minds. But to do this they needed to demonstrate the true scale and expertise of the organisation.

The Solution: We decided to tell the story of a truly innovative business, giving the entire process a life of its own. We focused our narrative on the process of creating a single iconic product; the humble ‘giftwrap’ making heroes of the staff who make it. This approach helped the viewer to appreciate the skill, craftsmanship and technology that goes into the other 30,000 products they make each year.

Why it Mattr’d: Job done… the share price has jumped a massive 25% and although the concept’s original purpose was to educate and inform investors, it’s now been repurposed and for staff inductions and recruitment drives around the globe. As a result they were highly commended by judges at the 2018 The Employee Engagement Awards. Now that’s a wrap!
