The problem: Social media has quickly become the best platform for brands to target their audiences, why? Because they are seamlessly connected to our lives and thanks to mobile phones they are always with us. Facebook and Instagram wanted to show just how powerful this mobile advertising is in their new campaign 'Mobile Moves people'.

The solution: Jacob Hopewell and Josh Hine (Creative Director of Mattr) flew to Singapore to direct a commercial tailor made for social media audiences watching on their mobiles. Their canvas of choice: a vertical video. The subject, the wonderfully eclectic faces and emotions of real life social media users.

Why it Mattr’d: The vertical video format stood out from the crowd of 'standard' horizontal videos when viewed online and when viewed on a mobile phone it gave the viewer a unique viewing experience tailor made for them.
